✅ Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Materials in Hall Construction – Prof. Carl-Otto Gensch (Öko-Institut e.V. ) presented insights from a recent study on the environmental impact of materials, reinforcing the importance of long-term durability and resource efficiency.
✅ Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) – Bunthan IEA (European Commission , DG ENER) provided updates on the latest EU policies driving energy efficiency and carbon reduction in the built environment.
✅ Meeting Climate Challenges in the Steel Construction Supply Chain – Norbert Beljaars (EGGA President & Zinkinfo Benelux - InfoZinc Benelux ) shared perspectives on sustainability in the Netherlands, emphasizing how galvanized steel supports climate ambitions.
