The perfect introduction to Dublin covering 1000 years of history from the first Viking developments on the edge of the river Liffey, through the walled city of the middle ages, the elegant Georgian age to the modern, bustling city of today. You will see all the important places – O’Connell Street where the fight for independence started in 1916, The old medieval city with Christchurch Cathedral inside the walls and then into the wide streets and elegant squares of the Georgian Period!

Tour 2 - “Coast & Castle”

Date: Wednesday 11 June
Time: 09:00-13:15
Price: €70+VAT
Available to only Accompanying Persons

A half day tour to the beautiful Malahide Castle and Howth Fishing Village, known for its bustling harbor, fresh seafood, and stunning coastal views. Malahide Castle, set on 250 acres of parkland in the pretty seaside town of Malahide, was both a fortress and a private home for nearly 800 years. The castle is furnished with beautiful period furniture together with an extensive collection of Irish portrait paintings, mainly from the National Gallery. There are also amazing views over Dublin from the Hill of Howth.

All sightseeing tours will depart from and return to the Herbert Park Hotel.
